What you'll do?
Under general supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and ensure the safe operational status of all forklifts and yard hostlers.
- Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
- Perform all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers both airless and diaphragm pumps, Inspect/replace belts, hoses, and pipes as needed and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
- Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
- Must maintain a daily work log on repairs on all equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, overall cleanliness, and organization of the maintenance cage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.
- Checking for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.
- Look for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.
- Checking for proper oil level & proper lubrication of all machines.
- Assist, Inspect, & Maintain all machinery, and repairing machinery in a timely manner. Must provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards, making sure maintenance staff does the same.
- Adhering to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures, making sure maintenance staff does the same.

- The ability to work in a dusty, dirty and non-air-conditioned environment

- willing to work overtime as needed
Requirements
- must be 18+ years old
- Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge, welding, machining, metal fabrication, and plumbing.
- Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
