What you'll do?
Under general supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.
- Clean, lubricate, & adjust parts, equipment, & machinery.
- Disassemble machinery & equipment to remove parts & make repairs.
- Makes preventive maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment, reports to Shift Supervisor, and takes appropriate action
- Analyzes mechanical and operational problems, makes necessary corrections, and runs adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
- Observe & test the operation of machinery & equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters& other testing devices.
- Operate newly repaired machinery & equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Repair & maintain the operating conditions of industrial production & processing machinery & equipment.
- Troubleshoot & repair machine electrical & control malfunctions such as 3-phase motor replacements, photo-eye adjustments, servos, machine timing & circuit replacements, etc.
- Cut & weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, & assemble new equipment.
- Demonstrate equipment functions & features to machine operators.
- Record parts & materials used, & order or requisition new parts & materials as necessary.
- Perform other tasks & special assignments as requested by management

Requirements
- must be 18+ years old
- Stong electrical experience is desired.
- Repairs and maintains mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment. using basic mechanic hand tools, and power tools.
- Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
